I realize that all of us are extremely busy and that we all have different crisis in our lives that require our attention, and all of them are important. But, getting together with friends is also very important, I should know I have been rather antisocial in the last months (hell last year is more like it ) and its something I regret. The device of a role-playing game session/ campaign is as good a justification as any for friends to gather together and enjoy each others company. And the bonus is that we get to live out some pretty interesting adventurers that could never really happen.

I too am sorry and that this story thread petered out and partially blame myself for its untimely demise, but PMikey's Brief but Intriguing Wrap up post has me definitely wanting more, of the same!! I just hope that it possible that PMikey can find the time to continue to help us craft the story that is the Vanguard City Crusaders... No strike that,anything is possible, the word I looking for is probable. But I'm under no illusions, being a GM at this point in time in our lives is a time consuming and draining task, yes it does have its own form of enjoyable payoff for the GM but the Work / Fun ratio is out of whack. I've believed for a long time that in order for us to get our FIX of PMikey superheroic goodness we really have to make running the game / campaign as easy and enjoyable for him as possible (Problem is I really haven't walked the walk on this one in the past and I know it, Sorry Mike really ) If he wants to try, and slowly, get this albatross off the ground again I give him my word I'll do my best to make it worth his while.

If I hadn't called him to ask him to tell you guys *I* couldn't make it, he would have completely forgotten about it.
