Hey WhiteWolf, at MLCon you said you were on the look out for boardgames that accommodate up to 7 players. Well Nuns on the Run can play up to 8. It's been getting great reviews as well.
Dice Tower- Nuns on the Run P.S.: Formula D plays with up to 10 players. Nothing to do with Nuns on the Run though.

Acev:
That game looks really fun, especially for a family. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!! I could easily see Mom & Dad playing the Prioress and the Abbess while the kids run around as the novices. Of course, it would be even more fun once the kid really grasp the rule and them the tables could be turned somewhat as the parent take the role of two of the novices and the Kids take turn playing the Prioress & and the Abbess And for some reason I always wanted to try Formule D. Maybe its cause I think its a board game my dad, as a Formula 1 Fan, would have liked. - Midnight

I think that many role-players get confused between "Fair" and "Balanced". "Fair" is a function of "Trust", Either in the GM, or the whims of Fate as represented by the Dice. A Mechanically "Balanced" system is a substitute for "Trust" and "Fair Play" to insure that Immature players or GM's don't abuse to gain an "Unfair" advantage over the others. I feel really sorry for any role playing group that feels they NEED a game to be "balanced". It's not the kind of group I want to play in. ![]() __________________________________ Playing: TFT [Company of the Black Rose], M&M [PMikey's The Crusaders! - On Hiatus.] GMing: Nothing Yet!!! Thanks ACEV,
I already own Formula D and I've run quite a few races with it as well. It's great with the 7 of us and my parents can play too. So yeah I like that one. So thanks for pointing me in that direction. Not to mention Dice Tower I didn't know these reviews existed. Thanks,

Junta also supports 7 players, in fact I've only ever played it with the full complement of 7 since it's not nearly as fun with less.

Shadow Hunters, I am not sure if that's the name but I believe it is can go up to 8, it's published by Z-Man, I had fun with that game. Arkham horror can go up that high too but it tends to really slow down the game. Robo Rally is another one that can go up to 8 but I didn't really enjoy it personally, it's a little too random for me.
